Why forge matters
After full release, Dungeon Lootr progression is not only “equip the newest drop.” Community beginner videos treat the blacksmith as the way extracted weapons and rings become a real build.
Codes, gamepasses, and Update 1 rewards are built around this loop: Forge Stones, Reforge Stones, Exotic Ingots, and a VIP forge-success bonus.
What forging is for
Community reports and item descriptions describe two related actions:

How to use the blacksmith
- Extract the gear you want to keep. Community guides say unextracted drops are lost on death.
- Open the blacksmith / forge interface in the lobby.
- Spend Forge Stones to upgrade the selected item.
- Use Reforge Stones if you are continuing a roll or rerolling.
- Stop when the in-game result matches the class you actually play.
Auto Forge is a paid gamepass that “automatically continues forging until you run out of materials.” It does not change the underlying rates.

Where to get forge materials
- Codes. Update 1 codes such as
RAIDTIME,WEEKENDBUFFS, andUPDATE1grant Forge or Reforge Stones. See Codes. - Dungeon extracts. Chests can drop upgrade materials alongside weapons.
- Events. Magic Unleashed coverage pairs new weapons with forge/event currencies such as Mage Coins and Exotic Ingots.
What not to forge first
- A weapon for a class you are about to reroll.
- Event shop weapons you have not compared against the current raid reward. Community videos specifically warn players to check Moria Blade and Frost Wand before buying.
- Every Copper Ring. Forge the piece that matches your current class and extract pace.
